Swansea City agree personal terms with Wigan Athletic's Jamal Lowe amid Preston and Millwall interest

Swansea City have agreed personal terms with Wigan Athletic's Jamal Lowe, WalesOnline understands.

The Swans lodged a bid for the winger last week, with the club keep to recruit the 26-year-old on a cut-price deal.

Wigan have been assessing their options in a bid to get the best deal possible following their recent relegation to League One.

And it's understood Lowe has agreed personal terms with the Swans ahead of a potential move to the Liberty Stadium.

However, it's also suggested that Lowe has agreed terms with two other Championship clubs.

Sky report that both Preston and Millwall have also agreed personal terms with the wideman, who netted six goals for Wigan in the Championship last season.

Lowe did not feature for Wigan in their friendly match against Carlisle United at the weekend.

The Latics have already sold a raft of players - including Wales international Kieffer Moore - this summer to pay off their creditors after entering administration.

Swansea have already signed Korey Smith and Freddie Woodman in the summer transfer window. They are also expected to sign Morgan Gibbs-White on a season-long loan deal from Wolves.
