A bar which claims to boast the warmest outdoor garden anywhere in Bristol has announced its reopening plans.
Racks in Clifton is gearing up to relaunch The Pavilion, which it says was the "place to be in Bristol before we went into lockdown," on April 12.
With patio heaters dotted throughout the covered venue for those chilly evenings, The Pavilion is also decorated with floral displays created by florist Thea Evans and illuminated with festoon lighting.
Racks also has an additional outdoor area which is uncovered for those who don't want to enjoy their food and drinks under the canvas on sunnier days.
During the period of closure the kitchen team has been working on creating a new menu ready to unveil next week, featuring all the existing classics alongside a few exciting additions.
New options include pork empanadas, octopus carpaccio and a pear walnut and stilton salad.
Diners can also choose from a number of fantastic vegan options, including a Moving Mountains burger, a ‘not dog’ and a vegan fish and chips.
"We can’t wait to have our customers back with us, both our regulars and hopefully some new faces," said a Racks spokesperson.
"We have worked so hard on The Pavilion and we’re excited to share it with the people of Bristol.
"It’s so cosy and warm in there, and will mean even when the weather’s bad we can still have a great time.
"Our uncovered terrace area will also really come into its own as the weather gets warmer. It's the perfect venue to get back out there and enjoy a drink outdoors.
"We’ve got some fantastic new menu options we can’t wait for everyone to try. Monday can’t come soon enough."
Tables are free to book at The Pavilion and spaces are filling up fast.
The uncovered terrace area meanwhile will only be available for walk-ups as the area is weather permitting. Bookings are also open for indoor tables from May 17 onwards.
