A swan has shuts down part of a busy Scots road sparking traffic chaos on the M8.
The bird has forced tailbacks on the motorway after becoming a hazard on the A720 this morning.
SSPCA officers are racing to the scene in a desperate bid to safely catch the wild animal.

It comes after the alarm was raised at around 9.37am following reports of a swan on the road.
Now one lane has been shut off between A720 Calder and Baberton with traffic delays building up on the M8 near junction two.

Traffic Scotland said: "There is a A720 Hazard.
"Lane one of two remains closed E/B Calder - Baberton due to a swan.
"The SSPCA are en route.
"Lane two is blocked E/B M8 -Calder due to a separate breakdown
"Traffic is tailing back onto the M8 towards J2."
