Suzanne Jackson flies back to Portugal to pack bags as she opens up on why Portugal move was cancelled

Suzanne Jackson has flown back to Portugal to pack up her belongings after having to cancel her plan to relocate for the summer.

The beauty entrepreneur, best known online as ‘So Sue Me’, shocked fans and followers earlier this year when she revealed she and her husband Dylan were leaving their Malahide mansion behind to relocate to Portugal.

In a statement at the time, she said: “I wanted to let you all know that myself and Dylan have decided to go ahead with our decision to relocate to Portugal.”

“We have taken all the necessary precautions to get here safely and will continue to follow Portuguese COVID guidelines & restrictions while we reside here.”

The beauty guru turned businesswoman said the pair had hoped to live in Portugal for ‘potentially six months of the year’.

She went on: “We haven’t decided on the exact length of time. But we’re definitely here for the rest of the summer.”

At the time, the couple said they were waiting to fly their beloved dogs Coco, Harper and Pixiey, over to their new home until after they had settled in and secured their property was ‘doggie proof’.

She explained: “Yes, the doggies are not here. But they are on their way.”

“We have to make sure that the house was doggie proof, in the sense that they couldn’t escape. We had to get all the gardens boxed off to make sure they couldn’t get out anywhere.”

However their plans ended up short lived, as the couple were forced to fly home last month when their dog Coco fell ill.

Having been posting snaps from her lavish new life in the sun, Suzanne shocked fans in June when she wrote: “Woke in Ireland…Unfortunately Coco hasn’t been well, so that delayed us bringing the dogs to Portugal.

“She’s not well again so I came home for a bit".

The Dubliner has made the journey back to Portugal this week, but only to pack up her belongings to bring them home.

Earlier this week, Suzanne revealed they have called off their move to accommodate Coco’s needs as she recovers.

The 36-year-old star, who presents RTE’s The Style Councillors, also explained that it made more sense to remain in Dublin as filming on the next series of the show is set to kick off in August.
