For eco-fashionistas, February has shaped up well so far. Notable events include, no-cotton jeans made from sustainable wood pulp; Vivienne Westwood appealing to Kate Middleton to set a better sustainable example and recycle her wardrobe more; and Buckinghamshire New University announcing it will offer the UK's first undergraduate fashion degree with a sustainable focus.
With increasing attention turning to supply chains and transparency, is the fashion industry moving and shaking? Could fast fashion be losing its appeal as the human and environmental cost of cheap clothing becomes clearer?
We've put together a list of influential eco-fashion tweeters but it's in no way a finished product or the result of an intricate scientific process so if you have any suggestions just leave them in the comments section below or tweet us @GuardianSustBiz.
