Spreading the word about organisational sustainability initiatives is a complex business, so our seminar on February 3rd 2011 is designed to help you get it right. Run by seasoned media and marketing professionals, the half day session will help you get more coverage for your sustainability achievements.
Following a (rather cheeky) suggestion from kompostgwen on Twitter - we are pleased to announce we have one GSB Seminar ticket up for grabs.
For a chance to win all you need to do is tweet telling us about an effective, creative, quirky or memorable sustainability campaign (it doesn't have to be your own). We would love to hear examples of communications genius that have worked to enlighten or convince consumers, suppliers or even other employees about a business sustainability initiative.
Just summarize in a tweet and add the hashtag #SustCampaign
The example you give could be from any type or size of organisation - and not necessarily yours. Nor does it have to be a 'social media campaign,' we are interested in any type of PR or marketing campaign as long as it is or was about sharing a sustainability message.
Do include a link* in your tweet pointing to more about / an example of the campaign so we can see the creative idea in action. *Tip: use a short URL.
Here are some examples to get you started:
- Timberland's earthkeepers - consumers add environmental pledges to giant recycled leather boot
- IBM Smarter Planet initiative - ads get people to think about the world from a systems point of view
- Burger King - consult public via Facebook on use of palm oil supplier
Enter as many times as you like. We will re-tweet the entries we like best - and a winner will be chosen mid-January.
