Police sealed off a large area this evening in East Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious package.
It was discovered at PSNI Headquarters shortly after 5:35pm.
ATO carried out a controlled explosion and the item was declared to be nothing untoward.
It has been taken away for further forensic examination.
A number of roads in the area were closed during the operation, but have now all fully re-opened.
