Suspicious fire at tattoo parlour in Adelaide's south

A fire believed to have been deliberately lit has caused $150,000 damage to a tattoo parlour south of Adelaide, police have said.

Firefighters were called to a Seacliff Park business about 4:00am on Monday after motorists noticed flames coming from the building.

Police believe the blaze at Brighton Road is suspicious.

"Unfortunately the business was destroyed in the fire," Senior Constable Kimberley Broad said.

"Thankfully no-one was injured but we've got fire cause investigators at the scene now to investigate the circumstances.

"If anyone out and about at the time witnessed any suspicious activity, any [people] or cars which aren't normally there, [please] call us."

Crime Stoppers can be contacted on 1800 333 000.
