Suspicious fire at Adelaide massage joint

Police in Adelaide believe a fire in a massage parlour was deliberately lit. (AAP)

Five people have escaped from a fire at an Adelaide massage parlour which police suspect was deliberately lit.

Police and fire crews were called to the business in Vaughan Place near the corner of Rundle Street at about 6pm on Wednesday.

Five people who escaped the premises were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of minor injuries including smoke inhalation.

Police said in a statement they suspect the fire was deliberately lit and have urged any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers.
