ATLANTA _ Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott plans to spend time out of the country to clear his head and train during his six-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy, per a source, confirming an earlier report by the NFL Network.
Elliott hopes to clear his head and train, while taking a page out the Tom Brady playbook.
The New England Patriots quarterback spent a week in Italy during his four-game suspension in 2016.
Elliott, however, has yet to depart for his out of the country trip.
He was spotted grocery shopping in Frisco before Sunday's game between the Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons.
