Suspects named after man stabbed in barber shop brawl

Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed in a brawl at a barber shop.

Merseyside Police were called to a report of a fight between a group of men at Groom Barber Shop, Aigburth Road on Tuesday, May 2. A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with several knife wounds to his legs and back.

He has since been released from hospital. Last night (May 4), two men were charged in relation to the incident.

Michael Ford, aged 25, of Admiral Street, Liverpool has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent, possession of criminal property and carrying a knife in a public place.

Harry Kinsella, aged 21, of Springfield Crescent in Huyton has been charged with carrying a knife in a public place.

Both men have been remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on June 2.
