The men suspected of murdering Stephen Maguire were named by police.
Mr Maguire was shot dead in his home on Guildford Road, in Birkdale, on March 16 after a masked gang burst into the house.
The 27-year-old's partner and six-year-old stepdaughter were told to go upstairs before Stephen was shot multiple times.
He died a short time later from a wound to his stomach despite paramedics attempts to save him.
A huge hunt for those involved has carried on over the last seven weeks before Merseyside Police made a number of arrests on Wednesday.
Three men were arrested in connection with the murder following a series of raids around the city.
On Thursday evening, officers charged and named those suspected of killing Stephen.
All three were charged with murder, kidnap, possession of a firearm and robbery.

They will appear in court on Friday, May 8.
In a statement, the force said: "Detectives have charged three men with the murder of Stephen Maguire in Birkdale on 16 March, 2020.
"Karl Corson, 27 years, of Columbine Close, Melling; Jack Higgins, 21 of Waresley Crescent, Fazakerley, and Ryan Smith, 21 years, of Colquitt Street, Liverpool city centre, were all charged with murder, two counts of kidnap, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and robbery.
"They will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday, 8 May 2020)."
