Suspected street robbery in Swansea leaves man in hospital with head injuries

A man was taken to hospital with head injuries following a suspected street robbery.

Police were called to Heol Awstin in Ravenhill, Swansea , shortly before 6pm on Monday, April 8, where they discovered the victim.

He was taken to hospital with head injuries which are not life threatening and has since been discharged.

South Wales Police said a 44-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery, and both had been released on bail.

Officers have since been conducting reassurance patrols in the area.
