A man has been taken to hospital following a suspected stabbing incident in Co Down.
Emergency Services including the charity Air Ambulance were tasked to the scene in the Osborne Drive area of Killyleagh this morning.
Detective Inspector Darren Handley said: "Police received a report of an assault in Killyleagh this morning (Sunday 21st June) where it was reported a male had been wounded at an address in the Osborne Drive area.
"Police and NIAS attended the scene. A male was conveyed to hospital for treatment of puncture wounds to his leg.
"Officers subsequently arrested a male, aged 18, on suspicion of offences including grievous bodily harm with intent and he remains in custody at this time."
