Suspected murder-suicide in Dagenham as man and woman in their 30s found dead

A man and a woman have died in a suspected murder-suicide in east London.

Police were called to Whalebone Lane South in Dagenham just before 1pm on Saturday to a reports of a woman in her 30s found unresponsive.

Ambulance crews also attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers said the death is being treated as suspicious.

Police were called shortly before 3pm to Gosfield Road - around a mile to the south-east of where the woman was found - to reports of a man found unresponsive, also in his 30s.

The man was also pronounced dead at the scene, but his death is not being treated as suspicious, police said.

Officers think the deaths are linked - and are not looking for anyone else in connection with them.
