Suspected human remains found at Scone

POLICE have found what they suspect are human remains near Scone.

A NSW Police spokesperson said officers from Hunter Valley Police District are investigating after suspected human remains were found near Gundy Road around 9am on Sunday.

"They are undergoing forensic examination to determine if they are human and assist with identification," the spokesperson said. "A crime scene has been established and inquiries are ongoing."
