A suspected drug dealer had to watch as wads of cash totalling £4,000 and suspected cocaine and cannabis was seized during a police bust.
The dramatic scenes unfolded in Netherton yesterday.
Merseyside Police confirmed officers made the discovery after raiding the home in Marie Curie Avenue.

Just after 5pm, officers stormed the property where a man was present.
During a search of the house, police recovered a large quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis along with around £4,000 in cash.
Officers have arrested a 32 year old man and seized Class A drugs and thousands of pounds in cash.
Police, who today released images of the cash and drugs retrieved, say the man inside the property has been arrested on drugs offences.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson confirmed: "The occupant, a 32 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property.
"He was taken to custody for questioning."

Police urge anyone who knows anyone involved in drug crime, to please get in touch.
The spokesperson added: "This can often lead to more serious violence and we must put a stop to it before it is too late - call 101, report via social media or report anonymously @CrimestoppersUK."
