A suspected drug dealer has been taken to hospital after jumping from a stolen car during a dramatic police chase through Leigh.
Cash and suspected Class A drugs were found in the Ford Mondeo after it crashed into a telephone box on Wednesday morning.
Police say a second man got of the car and tried to run away, but was caught by officers.
The drama unfolded at around 10.30am.
Officers on patrol spotted two men in the silver Mondeo acting suspiciously on Westbourne Avenue.

They began to follow the car and signalled for it to stop, but the driver sped off.
Police took chase and not long afterwards, the car crashed into a telephone box on Kirkhall Lane.
Before the car stopped, one of the men tried to jump from the car.
He was picked up by an ambulance, but due to his behaviour towards paramedics, police then had to intervene and transport the man to hospital themselves.

A second man was caught by police after trying to escape on foot, and both the men were arrested for a number of offences including suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and dangerous driving.
Officers searched the vehicle and and found a large amount of drugs and cash.
A spokesman for GMP said the car is also believed to have been stolen.
Sgt Barry Greyo from GMP’s Wigan borough said: "This was a significant discovery and it is all thanks to the skills of the patrolling officers, who have the incredible ability to just know when something isn’t right.
"We now have one man in custody and a second is receiving treatment in hospital for non life-threatening injuries, however he too has been arrested.
"The officers today have successfully stopped a large amount of dangerous drugs making their way any further onto our streets."
