Suspected drug dealer skipped court and has been missing for seven months

A suspected drug dealer is the latest to feature in this year's ECHO Festive Fugitive campaign as police seek a 21-year-old who failed to appear at court.

Joseph Young was charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.

He was due to attend court on May 7 but did not turn up.

Merseyside Police say extensive enquiries to trace him are ongoing - and officers are appealing for your help in the search.

Young is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He speaks with a Liverpool accent.

He features in the Festive Fugitive campaign alongside men including Alan Hughes and Liam Jones, both wanted on prison recall.

Hughes, 52 and of no fixed abode, was recalled to prison on October 12 after the burglar breached the conditions of his licence.

Jones, 22 and from Liverpool, was jailed for intent to supply Class A drugs and has also breached the terms of his release.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts or Jones or any of the Festive Fugitives is asked to contact Merseyside Police via Twitter (@MerPolCC) or by calling 101 with the reference 19100159239.

You can also pass information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online here.
