Suspected drug dealer named by police as man, 22, in custody

A suspected drug dealer was named by police as they keep a 22-year-old man in custody.

Merseyside Police stopped a suspicious vehicle on the junction of Hale Street and Forster Street in Warrington at around 7.20pm on Monday, February 21.

The driver of the Fiat Punto was stopped when officers found the car wasn't insured and began searching the vehicle.

Officers then raided a home on Forster Street, where they found a large quantity of cannabis.

Xhovani Kasneci, 22, of Landsdowne Road, Tottenham was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply class B (cannabis) possession of criminal property, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and using a mobile phone while driving.

He was remanded in custody and appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 23.

Kasneci was further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, March 23.
