Suspected drug dealer arrested after police seize BMW and £20,000 in cash

A suspected drug dealer has been arrested after police seized a BMW and £20,000 in cash from a property in Salford.

The 41-year-old was arrested at an address in Worsley this morning (Thursday, August 26) on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property.

Following the arrest, officers recovered an estimated £20,000 in cash and the BMW.

A recovery truck and two quad bikes were also seized.

Officers from Merseyside Police have since shared pictures of the items they discovered.

The man has been taken to a police station where he is being questioning by detectives.

The arrest was made as part of Merseyside Police's Encrochat investigation, targeting drug suppliers using encrypted phones.
