Suspected 'Banksy' spotted on south coast is claimed by another artist

Artist Disney has claimed a mural which locals first suspected to be a Banksy.

The Birmingham graffiti artist creates work in a very similar style to Bristol's world-renowned Banksy - but on his latest creation, he did leave an obvious clue.

His name was clearly stencilled on the mural, however many still questioned whether it was the latest work of Bristol's enigmatic street artist, who has been touring the south coast this summer, reports Devon Live.

Two weeks ago, Banksy shared a video on social media titled "A Great British Spraycation", showing him touring several towns in a cream-colored camper van.

This led to hopes that the mural, which appeared on the side of an amusement arcade in Cary Parade, Torquay could be a Banksy.

But today (Wednesday), Disney claimed the work and pointed out the small boy in the creation wrote the word 'Disney'.

The artist is usually present on the east coast, but it seems he is spending his summer in the South West.

Disney's work has also recently appeared in Weston-super-Mare, with people speculating once again that it could belong to Banksy.
