Suspect Tasered by police after armed officers called to reports of man with knife in Milford Haven

Armed police were called to a house in Milford Haven following reports someone was in possession of a knife.

Police arrived at Ash Grove, Mount Estate, shortly after 2am today following a report of a domestic incident.

Firearms officers also went as threats were said to have been made.

When police arrived at the property, they said a man was aggressive to officers.

Officers subsequently Tasered a man and arrested him on suspicion of breach of the peace in connection with the incident

He was taken to hospital as a precaution but was not injured according to a police spokeswoman. A woman was also arrested on suspicion of threatening behaviour.

The spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Following the arrests, officers commenced a search for a third person, who they believed was injured. He was found at a property in Chestnut Way at around 5am, with minor injuries.

"He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife, and taken to hospital. The three arrested people are in police custody.

"Officers will be in the area carrying out house-to-house enquiries and reassurance patrols today."
