Suspect's pal 'boasts online' over murder of tragic Irish teen stabbed in Dundrum, Dublin

A pal of a suspect behind the killing of Azzam Raguragui has allegedly posted online gloating about the brutal murder.

Tragic Azzam Raguragui was fatally stabbed in Finsbury Park in Dundrum, Dublin last Friday evening.

It is believed he was was returning from prayers in a local mosque, with a group of friends when he got into an argument with a gang of youths who had earlier stolen his bike.

It is understood that the two groups were having a fist fight before a knife was produced and Azzam was stabbed.

The 18-year-old was rushed to St James's Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Gardai have now launched a murder investigation and are seeking public help in finding Azzam's killer.

The Irish Daily Star claims that a friend of Azzam's killer posted on social media gloating about the callous killing.

A youth allegedly posted: "My guys stabbed him to bits. He was praying and all to not get killed."

It is believed that the dispute between the two groups originally started when Azzam's bike was stolen earlier that day.

The Star reports that Azzam went to a house where he believed his bike was being held and took it back.
