A man has appeared in court in connection with a street stabbing in Skelmersdale.
Emergency services were called to Lancaster Crescent after reports a man was stabbed outside a property.
On arrival at the scene, they found a man with a stab wound.

He was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident, which took place at 8.40pm on Thursday.
Lancashire Police said that, following inquiries, a man was arrested in connection with the incident.

The force has now confirmed that Hayden Brimage, 23 and of no fixed address, has been charged with common assault, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and Section 18 - wounding with intent.
He appeared at Preston Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
