A man is due to appear in court today following a firearms incident in Wavertree.
Armed officers were sent to an address on Wellington Road, at around 9.30pm on Monday, July 6.
Road closures were put in place at a number of surrounding streets while police dealt with the incident.
Officers have now charged a 29 year-old man with firearms offences in connection with the incident.
Lukas Vychtera, of Wellington Road, Wavertree has been charged with possession of a firearm with the intent to cause fear of violence.

A 27 year-old woman, who was also arrested, has been released with no further action.
Vychtera is due appear at Liverpool Crown Court today.
