A suspect is in custody after a city centre restaurant's till was stolen.
Merseyside Police received a report that Copacabana restaurant on Queens Square in Liverpool City Centre was broken into on Tuesday, May 23. Once inside, the thief stole the business' till.
Police confirmed they have arrested and charged a 49-year-old man on suspicion of burglary. Warren Johnson, of no fixed address, has been remanded into custody and appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 25.
