A man has appeared in court in connection with the death of tragic Hamilton teenager Amber Gibson.
Stephen Corrigan, from Blantyre, faced a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He appeared in private in front of a sheriff at Hamilton Sheriff Court via a video link.
The 43-year-old made no plea or declaration and was fully committed for trial.
Sheriff Andrew McIntyre remanded him in custody.
Amber, 16, vanished from her home in Hamilton in November, sparking a huge missing person hunt.
Her body was discovered near woodland in the town with her brother, Connor Gibson, later arrested.
Gibson, also known as Connor Niven, appeared in court last month charged with sexually assaulting and murdering her.
The 19-year-old, of Hamilton, also faces a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He too made no plea or declaration and will return to court at a later date, yet to be confirmed.
Amber vanished from the Hillhouse area of Hamilton before her body was found days later in woodland on November 28.
