
A suspect is in custody after a man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday in north suburban Evanston.
He was shot about 6 p.m. inside a home in the 1000 block of Darrow Avenue, according to Evanston police.
The man was “alert” and taken to an area hospital, police said.
The suspected shooter was taken into custody, and a firearm was recovered, police said. Further information was not immediately available.
