Suspect charged with triple murder after wife and two children found dead at Bedford home

  • Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, 45, has been charged with three counts of murder following the deaths of his wife and two daughters in Great Denham, Bedfordshire.
  • His wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma (42), and their daughters, Natalie (15) and Nala (5), were discovered deceased in their £1.3 million home after concerns were raised about them not being seen for several days.
  • Tshuma was arrested in Kensington, Johannesburg, South Africa, on Friday, following an intensive operation involving the South African Police Service (SAPS) Interpol National Central Bureau and other units.
  • The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised the murder charges against Tshuma after a careful review of evidence provided by Bedfordshire Police.
  • Police believe Tshuma travelled to South Africa from Zimbabwe, having left the UK on 4th July, and are now working with international partners to bring him back to the UK.
