Police have charged a man after a gun and knife were found in a house in Wirral.
Officers from Merseyside Police and Counter Terrorism Policing North West executed a warrant at a property in Port Sunlight on Thursday, September 15. Alan Madden, 64, of Boundary Road, was later charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a weapon and a bladed article.
Madden appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 21 and has been remanded in custody until his next appearance on Wednesday, October 19.
