It has been a celebratory mood for actress Ankita Lokhande for the past few weeks. The new bride celebrated her 37th birthday on December 19 with husband Vicky Jain, family and close friends. Ankita received several birthday wishes and blessings from her industry friends, well-wishers and fans.
Ankita's ex-beau and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti also sent birthday wishes for Ankita Lokhande. Although, it was a late wish, she posted a throwback photo with Ankita and wished her a happy birthday. Shweta captioned the photo: "A very happy birthday to the sweetest girl I know…. I hope you get every happiness in life…coz you deserve them! Sending loads of love and prayers your way ❤️🤗 #HappyBirthdayAnkita (sic)"
Sushant's sister had also congratulated Ankita for her wedding with Vicky Jain on December 14. Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were seen together as the maid lead in the show, Pavitra Rishta. They were in a relationship for nearly six years and were supposed to tie the knot. However, things fell apart and they went their respective ways.
On June 14, Sushant's alleged suicide left Ankita in a heavy state of shock, and she publicly supported his family, and was of the opinion that a person like Sushant would never take a step to end his life.
Ankita, found love in Raipur-based businessman Vicky Jain and after three years of dating each other, they finally exchanged wedding vows after a three-day long pre-wedding functions at a grand hotel in Mumbai.
