Susanna Reid appeared to take a swipe at Katie Price and her husband Lee Andrews after he was released from prison following a long-running mystery over his whereabouts.
In an Instagram story posted on Tuesday (16 June), the Dubai-based businessman revealed he is “safe and healthy”, and back with wife Katie Price. He claimed that he was “held at gunpoint” before being “accused of espionage” by Dubai authorities.
Discussing Andrews’ version of events on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (17 June), Reid had a look of disbelief across her face as she said: “I think my eyes just rolled out of my head.”
The Independent has contacted the Dubai authorities for comment.
