Susanna Reid shown what she'll look like in 2040 – but she spots major mistake

Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were stunned to see what they might look like in 20 years time.

The GMB team put together some computer-generated pictures of the stars, revealing how they were predicted to look in the year 2040.

It came following the discovery of a prediction of what footballer David Beckham would look like in the year 2020, and it was so wrong.

Back in 1998 when his star was very much on the up, football magazine FourFourTwo made a cheeky prediction about what Becks would look like in over 20 years, with some nifty photoshopping.

Unflattering 1998 prediction of what Beckham will look like in 2020 got it SO wrong

Susanna was quick to point out her own picture was wrong, 20 years before the age she would be in the snap.

She was shown with grey hair replacing her glossy brunette locks, with her face featuring a few wrinkles here and there.

Piers Morgan’s co-star explained that this wouldn’t be her look in the suggested year though, thanks to one key thing.

Susanna wasn't so sure about her image (ITV)

Susanna vowed she would never let her hair go grey, ruling out the image immediately.

She said, instead, she would still be dying her hair for as long as she can.

Susanna told Richard: “I will never knowingly be without hair dye, so I’d just like to point out that’s not gonna happen.”

Richard mocked his own 2040 prediction (ITV)

Richard was left in hysterics over his own prediction, claiming he looked like he was attending his own funeral.

Showbiz editor Richard Arnold and news presenter Charlotte Hawkins were also shown their own computer-generated pictures, and were left pretty divided.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
