Susanna Reid is used to being the face of morning telly - but today her lookalike mum shared the spotlight to mark her 81st birthday.
The Good Morning Britain star shared a close-up selfie of the pair beaming beside each other as she took to Instagram to share the happy occasion.
She posted: "81 years young! Happy Birthday to my amazing mum."
Adding a champagne flute toast and love heart of emojis the presenter was inundated with well wishes for her dear mum.
The candid shot shows the mum and daughter share the same facial features and stunning smooth skin as they smile back at the camera.
One follower commented: "There's a face that speaks 'joy' and very happy eyes. Bless her I hope she has the best day x."
Another also highlighted her mum's apparent age-defying looks adding: "Surely you mean 61?"
A third quipped: "You are like 2 peas in a pod. Beautiful photo."
A fourth chimed in: "Happy birthday to the queen mother of the queen of television."
Susanna's mum once joined her on the GMB set as she offered insight into their close relationship.
In an interview Sue said of Susanna: "She was lovely until she was 13. She was absolutely wonderful. She was a joy.
"When she was 13, overnight she turned absolutely horrible for two years.
"When she was 15 we sort of said, 'look hang on a minute either we’re going to get on well and support each other or we’re going to make each other’s lives hell' and we’ve been best friends ever since. I’m proud of her."
Susanna also praised her mum, a former nurse and health visitor, for being there for her, when she marked her own birthday last month.
Meanwhile the mum-of-three is fresh from a Christmas break and GMTV was unexpectedly off the air during the festive season.
A pre-recorded special will air on Christmas Day from 7-9am.
Susanna and the team returned on Tuesday with her fronting the show alongside former Blue Peter presenter Richard Bacon but that presenting partnership appeared short-lived as he told viewers it was his last day.
Other presenters taking the morning news spot include Martin Lewis, Adil Ray, and Richard Madeley since Piers Morgan's dramatic exit in March last year.
