The 'ghost of Piers Morgan' is still living on at Good Morning Britain, according to Susanna Reid.
The presenter made the comment about her former co-host when a guest made the name blunder to new co-star Alastair Campbell.
On Wednesday's edition of the ITV show, Susanna and Alastair were talking to journalists Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire who appeared via video link from the Labour Party conference in Brighton.
They were on hand to help discuss the ongoing fuel crisis and HGV driver shortage as it enters another day.

But during the conversation, Kevin made a mistake when he almost accidentally called Alastair by Piers’ name.
"Piers Morgan I was going to say. Remember him?" he laughed.
"Who? Who?" Alastair said from the studio while Andrew waved his arms and repeatedly said: "No, no, no."
As Andrew tried to carry on and get over the error, Kevin quipped: "Distraction. It's a distraction strategy."
The pair were then disagreeing over a comment when Kevin then began to call Alastair, Piers, as if to mock Kevin.

"Stop calling me Piers, for god’s sake," Alastair shouted in jest.
Susanna then joked: "The ghost of Piers Morgan still exists on this programme."
Andrew then told him: "You look so similar – you just look a bit older."
Susanna and Piers were reunited earlier this month for the first time since he dramatically left GMB.
The former co-hosts were brought back together at the Tric Awards 2021 where Piers pipped Susanna to the Best News Presenter gong.

But as Susanna congratulated Piers on his win the following day on the ITV news programme, she revealed the 'lovely' thing he did.
"There was an absolutely lovely moment yesterday where he said, 'team work makes the dream work', and he invited me up on stage," she said.
"But it's down to you because no one has held politicians to account in a more rigorous way than you did Piers during the pandemic, so congratulations Piers," Susanna added.
