Susanna Reid has shown her sassy side after a Twitter troll rubbed her up the wrong way this morning.
The Good Morning Britain star, 49, proved she wasn't taking any smart remarks after she received backlash from an unimpressed follower.
The presenter had detailed her 'terrifying' experience of getting back on a bike and cycling the streets of London.
Susanna insisted that once she got back on the saddle, she felt "insecure, wobbly and, quite frankly, terrified".
Opening up about her ordeal in Mail Online, the brunette beauty admitted that she was inspired to get back on her bike after a speech from Boris Johnson.
"After Boris said lockdown could herald a ‘golden age of cycling’, I was inspired," she wrote.
"The last time I tried was on a beach holiday when, after a few glasses of rosé, I decided I could cycle on sand and tried to reach my accommodation a few hundred metres away."
Susanna added: "Naturally, I fell off and I have a scar on one knee to remind me of my stupidity."
While her candid confession was met with praise from the majority of her fans and followers alike, Susanna didn't escape a few smart remarks.
After reading about her bike bandwagon, Twitter user Grant decided to share his opinion on the matter.
"You are a bike," the unimpressed reader replied.
But it was The Good Morning Britain star's response that got the social media platform talking.
Susanna sarcastically penned: "Excellent contribution to the debate Grant."
The reply was met with much praise from surprised fans who dubbed Sus 'a sass queen' and 'a Twitter hero'.
The presenter's sassy response comes after she revealed what it's really like working with GMB co-host Piers Morgan.
Susanna insisted that working with the controversial star every morning "is like being at a firing range where I’m used as target practice, at the same time as being the health and safety rep".
While the pair appear to disagree more than they agree, Susanna wouldn't trade her place beside Piers for anything.
