Susanna Reid opens up on love life struggles as she clears up dating rumours

Susanna Reid discussed the “long and winding road” of love on Good Morning Britain on Thursday, months on from her split from boyfriend Steve Parish.

The host and the Crystal Palace chairman called time on their romance in April, after confirming their relationship last year.

Susanna has been single since, despite recent rumours she was dating again, but isn’t taking any advice from ITV2 dating series Love Island, confessing she doesn’t watch the show.

But the star did open up on her search for love, hinting it wasn’t coming so easily.

Richard Arnold was on the show talking about Harry Redknapp’s looming appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories this weekend.

Harry discussed son Jamie Redknapp’s split from ex-wife Louise and how it impacted the family.

Richard commented: “A rocky road it so often is, long and winding when it comes to love.”

Susanna put her hands up and quipped: “Well don’t talk to me about it,”

Her co-star then joked: “Sorry, wrong crowd,” leaving her in hysterics.

Ben Shephard then suggested she could look to Love Island for some tips, but she revealed this was a no-no.

She explained: “Do you know what, I haven’t actually been watching it. I’ve been a little bit busy with this training for Soccer Aid.”

Back in April, co-host Piers grilled Susanna on air just a day after she confirmed her separation from Steve.

She commented: “Yep. Let's not dwell. I'm fine, we're fine, we're very good friends. We were at the match on Saturday. These things happen right, we remain friends. Very good friends.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
