Susanna Reid mocked by GMB co-stars for wearing pink silk dressing gown to work

Susanna Reid found herself ribbed by her co-stars on Good Morning Britain today by her choice of "pink silk dressing gown" as an outfit to work.

The 50-year-old, who was joined by Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, insisted that she had got dressed today as guests on the show laughed over the situation.

"I just want to point out, I did get dressed this morning," she said awkwardly. "I haven't come in my dressing gown."

"It's very Margot from the Good Life," Ben joked. "I like it as a look!"

"Well, thank you very much," Susanna smiled.

Kate exclaimed: "You look lovely, what are you talking about?!"

"It wasn't in the dressing gown section," Susanna remarked. "But then I did buy it online!"

Susanna later also gave her opinion on the Ofcom ruling, which vindicated Good Morning Britain and her former co-star yesterday.

Piers, 56, quit the ITV daytime show in March after being told to apologise following comments he made on-air about disbelieving the Duchess of Sussex.

Susanna appeared alongside co-host Ben Shephard, the Mirror's Kevin Maguire and the Daily Mail's Andrew Pierce and said that she was left stunned by the ruling.

Opening up about what it had been like at the time, Susanna said: "On the one hand, I've got my friend Piers Morgan and the other my bosses. It was awkward."

Referring to Ofcom's statement, she said: "Ofcom included this significant freedom of speech mention... it's all over the papers today as a landmark ruling."

*Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
