Good Morning Britain viewers were a little confused when TOWIE star Gemma Collins announced she’d signed to Universal records, and was releasing music.
The Dancing On Ice star promised she’d be dropping a single at Christmas too, despite believing it would be ready now to air live on the show.
As viewers began to speculate whether this was an April Fool’s prank, hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid also shared their own suspicions.
Susanna then made a dig about the star’s potentially looming track, amid confusion over whether she could actually sing.

As Gemma bigged up the single and questioned whether they had it to play on air, Susanna laughed before asking: “Does it exist?”
Gemma appeared red-faced by the comment before insisting it did exist, it just simply wasn’t ready yet.
While a single dropping at Christmas wouldn’t likely be available to listen to yet, fans were left unconvinced by her suggestion they were going to play it on the show.
Still not sure, Susanna then added: “Is it on Spotify?”
Gemma repeated that it was “top secret” and simply not ready yet, teasing it would be worth the wait.
Susanna wasn’t the only one mocking the situation, with viewers agreeing it was a prank.
