Good Morning Britian's Susanna Reid, 49, has been inspired by her pal and colleague Kate Garraway after she appeared on the 2019 series of I'm A Celeb.
The breakfast show host has told that Kate stripping off for the jungle shower in her red bikini has 'inspired' her to be more 'body confident' and to 'take more risks' as she approaches 50.
Reflecting on the moment 52-year-old Kate showcased her fabulous figure on the reality TV show, Susanna penned in her column in the Daily Mail : "When she did dare to wear that red bikini in the shower, I can’t have been the only midlife woman she inspired to feel more body confident."
Susanna also explained how it has helped her as she added: "As I face 50, there’s no doubt Kate has inspired me to push through my limits and be less risk averse, too."
Detailing Kate's journey, that saw her overcome her fears she continued: "In doing so, she has shown that, far from settling down and no longer taking risks after 50, we midlifers can continue to be brave.
"A year away from my milestone birthday, I may not be ready for the delights of facing challenges with Ant and Dec, but it may well be time to work out which fears I am ready to face. And if I need help, I’ll ask Kate."
It comes after Kate says she got an almighty shock when she looked in the mirror after exiting the camp – as she lost a stone while in there.
The slimmed-down host, who came fourth, was also taken aback by her “really crazy” hair and eyebrows.
Speaking after enjoying a shower at the Palazzo Versace hotel, Kate said: “I think I learned I'm braver than I think I am. I'm stronger than I think I am.
“But I was a bit shocked when I got into the dressing room and looked in the mirror.
"I thought ‘Oh, my God!’ –because you don’t see yourself. There is no mirror in the jungle.
“They weigh you before you go in and they weigh you when you come out and I’ve lost a stone… I was really eating in there as well, so rice and beans is kind of the way to go.”
