Susanna Reid showed off a dramatic blonde transformation ahead of her Good Morning Britain return - but fans were confused when they saw her normal brunette locks today.
The 50-year-old television presenter made her return to the ITV breakfast show on Monday to host alongside Richard Madeley, after a week off.
But fans who were expecting to see her blonde highlights were left disappointed as she confessed her new locks were the result of an Instagram filter - which also gave her skin a sunkissed glow.
Sharing a photo of her "new" hair do, she wrote: " #SUNSHINE ! Hope you have had a gorgeous weekend - back @gmb tomorrow with the legend Richard Madeley, after a wonderful week off."

However, she added another message to her 570,000 fans, admitting she hadn't got rid of her signature locks.
"Disclaimer: pic most definitely filtered; hair colour & suntan not model’s own," she wrote.
Susanna looked like she was embracing the warm weekend weather as she smiled for the camera in a navy t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses on her head. She completed her summery look with a dainty necklace.

The Good Morning Britain anchor returned to the show on Monday and was joined by Richard, who has stepped in as a guest presenter as ITV continue to look for the ideal person to replace Piers Morgan, who exited the show over comments he made about Meghan Markle and her and her husband Prince Harry's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Many names have been thrown into the hat to sit alongside Susanna but recent reports suggest it could be a woman who joins Susanna on a permanent basis.
"It is very possible that we will have two women fronting the show. Susanna will take the lead, but the job of her co-host is up for grabs, and it will come down to who is most popular with viewers," a source said.

"Richard and Charlotte both gave powerhouse performances last week, so we will be seeing a lot more of them in the coming weeks. But Ranvir and Kate will be back too, as will Alastair Campbell and Bill Turnbull."
As a result, GMB will see a number of guest presenters over the coming months as bosses try to work out who is the favourite to take over permanently.
"The attitude behind the scenes is there is no rush to find a replacement for Piers this year. The bosses want to make the right choice. They want to give lots of people a chance and, as time goes on, focus more on the most popular hosts," the source said.
