ITV Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid looks unrecognisable in throwback picture

Susanna Reid stunned fans with an unrecognisable throwback photo from 20 years ago, where she looks much older than she does now.

The Good Morning Britain presenter shared a snap from her first ever broadcast at the BBC, where she looks remarkably different to the glamorous present day.

Back in 2000, Susanna, now 49, wore a lilac jacket and had short brown hair, as she read the news.

Sharing the photo to Instagram, Susanna said: "Someone at TV Live unearthed my first national news bulletin on BBC TV.

"It was in May 2000 so there’s 20 years between these pictures. Rocking the Playmobil hair."

And her followers couldn't believe the difference between the photos, saying she looked much better, despite being 20 years older.

Lizzie Cundy said: "Look younger now my darling."

Ella Jane Clarke said: "BENJAMIN BUTTON."

Denis Bedson said: "Like a fine wine."

Kierarose87 said: "And you look 20 years younger."

And rhianlismore said: "Wow doesn't even look like you. You look younger now."

Susanna has made some drastic lifestyle changes in the past couple of years, giving up alcohol and eating a healthier diet.

Speaking to Mail Online Susanna said: "I never drank when I was working, but, on nights off, I’d have a couple of glasses of wine. And Piers and I would have these big nights out at the Groucho Club in Soho, which were wonderful.

"But I haven’t done one of those since I stopped drinking. Basically, I’m a lot less fun now — as Piers tells me all the time."
