Susanna Reid lovingly called Kate Garraway a "tower of strength, courage and love".
The Good Morning Britain presenter heaped on the praise for her co-star after the tear-jerking documentary Finding Derek aired on ITV on Tuesday night.
Emotional viewers were in tears as Kate invited cameras into her family's home life for Finding Derek after her husband Derek Draper was rushed to hospital with Covid last year.
Having just watched the documentary herself, Susanna shared some kind words about her friend Kate on Twitter.
In a sweet message, she wrote: "She is a tower of strength, courage and love @kategarraway."
Susanna's thoughtful words were shared as she re-posted a Good Morning Britain tweet with the documentary trailer which tugged on everyone's heart strings.
During Good Morning Britain, Susanna revealed Kate's husband Derek would have been incredibly "proud" of his wife.
She said: "He burst with pride about Kate, he is so proud of her. He would be so proud of her now, doing what she's doing and this documentary."
Clearly impressed, Susanna hailed Kate for staying "so together" amid the "chaos" of juggling the changes to her life.
She added: "There is an element of chaos, but watching the documentary she's so together.
"When you think she's juggling all of those jobs and also having to talk to medics all of the time about her husband...
"The way she and her children involved Derek in their family life still, via FaceTime, she makes time for everything."
Previously, Susanna has praised Kate for her happy go lucky attitude.
In a gushing interview, she credited her colleague for always being "so upbeat" and showing the "most gorgeous smile" during the most difficult time of her life.
She told Prima magazine in December: "She's so upbeat every time I see her, despite going through such an unimaginably difficult time watching her husband Derek's battle with Coronavirus.
"She's carrying on with the world on her shoulders, but she still beams the most gorgeous smile."
