Susanna Reid begs I'm A Celeb bosses to take Piers Morgan 'off my hands'

Susanna Reid is very keen for Piers Morgan to be a contestant in the jungle this year, as she has begged hosts Ant and Dec to take him "off my hands".

The 48-year-old journalist seems to be desperately calling to get rid of her Good Morning Britain co-star for a few weeks to participate in a range of squeamish bush tucker trials.

An eager Susanna wrote on the post: "Are you taking Piers Morgan off my hands," with a praying emoji.

Fans of Susanna agreed with her by the 645 likes the comment pulled in.

One pleaded: "HE NEEDS TO GO IN!! I love Piers Morgan and I’m a celeb!!! This would make the show this year!"

"Fears Morgan, Piers Pressure, - the bushtucker trials write themselves," another penned.

A third added: "i would pay so much money to see piers morgan in the jungle."

However, controversial host Piers responded to the Daily Mirror's article calling for him to enter the jungle this year.

The GMB presenter is always disagreeing with Morgan (Ken McKay/ITV/REX)

He named the eye-watering price he would require to appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The Good Morning Britain presenter tweeted: "Like I said, £5 million and I'll come and munch kangaroo testicles. Not a penny less."

Rebekah Vardy wrote back to Piers: "stop it.... you wouldn’t last 5 minutes Morgan... I can’t imagine you eating Kangaroo balls or Sheep anus somehow".

He responded: "I'll do anything for £5 million."

It appears it might be a struggle for the presenter to attempt to eat the stomach-churning meal challenges considering he almost vomited after attempting to eat a vegan sausage roll.

It comes after this year's series of  I'm A Celebrity  has kicked off as iconic duo Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly meet with ITV bosses to confirm the new line-up .

The Geordie presenters gathered together this morning for a meeting with the show's producers to find out what's in store and who to expect for this year's bunch of celebrities.

The line-up should be revealed soon, shortly before the show returns in November.
