Susanna Reid and Lorraine Kelly's savage dig at Prime Minister Boris Johnson

Susanna Reid and Lorraine Kelly made their thoughts known about Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain.

Mr Johnson has refused to appear on the ITV breakfast show for months and months, and Susanna was keen to remind viewers of that.

Her comments came after she and her co-host Ed Balls welcomed Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis into the studio.

During a crossover to Lorraine ahead of her show, Susanna said: "Lorraine, I just want to share with you as well. We have had an outpouring of love for the Greek Prime Minister!"

"He was lovely," Lorraine replied as Susanna began reading out positive tweets from viewers tuning in at home.

"Can we have the Greek Prime Minister instead of our Prime Minister," one person tweeted.

Another posted: "The Greek Prime Minister had my attention. He's speaking clearly, precisely."

"Apparently he's got everyone's vote," Susanna then said, as Lorraine remarked: "Totally, wasn't it lovely to hear somebody making sense? And actually being there!"

Susanna then butted in: "Being here! Doing an interview! And not being in a fridge!"

"Absolutely, loved it! I thought it was great, really good," Lorraine added.

"He was also a bit hunky wasn't he?" GMB host Ed Balls then said to the ladies.

"He didn't do it for me Ed, in that way! But I can see where you're coming from!" Lorraine replied.

"Piers Morgan out, Greek Prime Minister in!" Ed joked as Susanna teased that he had "a thing" for him.
