Susanna Reid admits 'abuse is so toxic and horrible' for reporting on Covid-19

Susanna Reid confessed she gets "toxic and horrible" trolling for reporting on the coronavirus pandemic.

The TV presenter, 50, has been hosting breakfast TV show Good Morning Britain alongside Piers Morgan.

Behind the scenes, the breakfast TV host opened up about the abusive messages she has received while she's been covering the coronavirus pandemic.

Although Susanna admitted to having moments of "self-doubt", the defiant star said she can't be afraid of what people say.

She told You magazine : "The abuse is so toxic and horrible, but you can’t be afraid of what people are going to say about you.

"Obviously there are moments when I’m upset or I beat myself up about getting something wrong – and there are things that frighten me – but we do a good job and we enjoy what we do.

"I have moments of self-doubt, but I’ve been doing this a long time now."

Susanna has been juggling her high-profile TV job with raising her three sons at home.

The TV star courted attention on TV for a completely different reason earlier this week.

Comments were rolling in as fans gushed over Susanna's fabulous sense of style on Good Morning Britain.
