Susan Taylor named as Leeds woman who died after being hit by van in Rothwell

A Leeds woman who died after being hit by a van last week has been named by police.

Susan Taylor, 63, was killed in the road traffic tragedy last week on Wednesday, December 1.

Susan, who was from Rothwell, died after she was hit by a white Long Wheel Base Mercedes Sprinter van in Park Crescent in Rothwell.

West Yorkshire Police have renewed their appeal to find witnesses to the accident as they named Susan.

Susan was walking along Park Crescent around 1.15pm when she was hit by the van.

Emergency services were called but she sadly died at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed her being hit or the circumstances leading up to it, or may have video footage, to get in touch.

Call West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team by calling 101, quoting reference 720 of December 1, 2021.
