Susan Boyle's only date in the last six years ended in disaster as her team thought she'd been kidnapped.
The Scottish singing sensation, 58, met a good-looking doctor during a trip to the US six years ago and agreed to out on a spontaneous lunch date with him.
She was away for 45 minutes enjoying a meal with her mystery man, and her team were left panicking as they thought she'd been abducted.
In an interview with OK! magazine, Susan explains: "Youngsters may be able to do it [go on dates] but I haven't got the time.
"It is still nice to be asked though. I had a date in America about six years ago, which lasted 45 minutes.
"I went for a massage in the spa of a hotel and met a doctor and then we went out for lunch.
"I didn't tell anyone and my team thought I'd been kidnapped. They were really panicking because I had a show that night.
"The guy was nice but he wasn't for me. I couldn't be dealing with keeping up with the correspondance."
When asked if she'd be open to romance in the future, Susan say she's not.
She explained: "No, I'm not advertising! It's never been a priority for me."
During the chat, Susan also opened up about how's she's spent her millions and revealed she bought herself a fur coat, a piano and a bike.
