Subtitled I Hate My Sister, this witty show is proof that sibling rivalry can be entertaining. Janice Phayre (the unwilling tomboy) and Susan Earl (think pink horror Maxine in Coronation Street) aren't actually sisters, but understand that complex relationship well enough to make sharply-observed comedy. They are a hail of miniskirts, appalling handbags and dynamite dialogue set to a chintzy backdrop of 80s pop (Duran, Spandau).
Once the Irish duo expand the theme to the religious sisterhood, things really take off. "What words sum up how we're feeling now?" asks the demure Sister Josephine. Her bile-faced partner spits: "Hell and damnation!"
This catty double act offers some evil one-liners that only occasionally touch crudeness. It's especially funny finding out what girls whispering in the back pew of catholic churches say about choir boys. Towards the end even the comedians have difficulty keeping straight faces.
Till August 28. Box office: 0131-556 6550.
